If you are selected to receive the Grindstone Scholar Award, you will have convinced us that you know how to get things done.

We believe character traits such as overcoming adversity, gratitude, voluntarily taking on responsibility, stewardship, productivity, courage and drive are honorable and should be rewarded.

This site is to honor the character and work of St. Clair County, Alabama high school graduates who have earned the distinction of being a Grindstone Scholar.
